Job Description:

As a Red Cross Certified CPR Instructor at On-The-Go CPR Training, you will have the opportunity to educate and empower individuals with essential life-saving skills. Your role is crucial in ensuring that people are prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations, potentially saving lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Red Cross certified CPR and First Aid training programs to diverse audiences, including individuals, community groups, schools, and businesses.

Instruct participants in the proper techniques for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED) usage, and basic first aid.

Create a supportive and engaging learning environment, adapting teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and skill levels.

Stay up-to-date with the latest guidelines and protocols set by the American Red Cross.

Provide constructive feedback to participants, helping them improve their skills and confidence.

Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant certifications.

Foster a culture of safety and preparedness by promoting awareness of the importance of CPR and First Aid training.

Collaborate with the On-The-Go CPR Training team to enhance program materials and methods to improve training effectiveness.

Ensure that all training equipment is in proper working condition and report any issues for timely resolution.

Participate in ongoing professional development and certification renewal to stay current in your field.

Qualifications:

Current American Red Cross CPR Instructor certification.

Proficiency in delivering CPR and First Aid training to individuals of various ages and backgrounds.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

Compassionate and patient demeanor when teaching.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Dedication to the mission of promoting safety and saving lives through CPR and First Aid training.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in teaching CPR and First Aid in diverse settings, such as schools, workplaces, and community organizations.

Additional certifications in advanced CPR and first aid techniques.

Training in using automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
